CPA 150-Hour Rule
The 150-hour rule stipulates how many semester hours must be earned in order to become licensed by the State Board. Applicants may sit for the CPA exam once they have an undergraduate degree and have completed the required courses mandated by the State Board of CPAs. Once a candidate has passed all four parts of the exam, he/she has five years to reach the 150 credit hours needed to be licensed in Louisiana.
How can you make the 150-Hour Rule work for you?
The accounting department strongly recommends that students apply to our Masters of Science in Accounting programs. Currently, an undergraduate degree in accounting at 色色研究所 requires 120 hours and a graduate degree requires 30 hours, combining the two programs totals 150 hours.
What if I don't qualify for the Masters's program?
Students who do not qualify for the Masters's program should consider the Pre- CPA Program.
