Now that you're admitted... What's next?
After being accepted into the University of New Orleans, you'll need to take care of just a few more details to complete the admissions process.
1. Share the good news!
By taking a photo and posting on social media using #色色研究所proud. Follow us at @UofNO and @色色研究所admissions to see if you鈥檙e spotlighted!
2. Access Your 色色研究所 Email
It is important that you use your 色色研究所 email address for all University related communications. You will receive an email from our Information Technology (IT) department with instructions on how to set up your new @色色研究所.edu email account.
If you have not received this information after admission, please contact the Help Desk (504)280.4357. They can assist in getting this for you.
Fall 2024
Due to software upgrades, in April of 2024, you will receive an email with instructions from 色色研究所 Access Services about setting up your 色色研究所 student account and 色色研究所 email address. Don鈥檛 worry, we will send you reminders to be on the lookout.
3. Submit FAFSA and Review Financial Aid
If you are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, be sure to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at . Have questions about the FAFSA, TOPS, scholarships, etc.? Visit finaid.uno.edu or call the Privateer Enrollment Center at 504.280.6603. All financial aid notices will be sent to your 色色研究所 student email account, so be sure to check it regularly!
4. Send your Transcripts
There are different ways to send your transcripts to 色色研究所. No matter how you send them, please follow the instructions listed at uno.edu/admissions/transcripts to ensure that the Office of Admissions receives your transcripts.
5. Start your New Student Experience
Through each step of the New Student Experience, students will be prepared to succeed at 色色研究所 while discovering how to live & learn in community. Learn more about New Student Experience here.
Step1: Registration Day is designed to get you started! Now that you are a Privateer, we鈥檙e ready to introduce you to campus & get you enrolled in classes.
Step 2: Online Orientation Modules teaches you more about different parts of campus at your own pace.
Step 3: Fall MAMBO will help you start your classes on the right foot and to make the most of your Privateer experience!
*Returning undergraduates and transfer students with over 60 credit hours of transfer coursework do not need to attend a New Student Experience event. You may reach out directly to their academic advisor to schedule classes here.
6. Submit Immunization Forms
Incoming freshmen are required to submit immunization records to 色色研究所 Student
Health Services, or request an Immunization Waiver prior to getting advised and registered. For more information, visit immunization.uno.edu.
7. Apply for Campus Housing/Exemption
All new full-time, first-year students are required to either apply for campus housing, or submit a housing requirement exemption request prior to getting advised and registered. For more information, visit housing.uno.edu.
