Some foreign governments or institutions require diplomas, transcripts or degree verifications to have a certification of authentication or apostille.
For more information, please visit:
To request this process for documents from the University of New Orleans, please:
1. Order your diploma or transcript through Parchment.com and ask that it be sent to graduation@uno.edu.
2. Send a apostille request to graduation@uno.edu with your name and some type of identifying information such as your student number or birth date.
Let us know which items you are having sent to us to apostille. We will print the documents and authenticate it with our seal.
If you also/only need a degree verification letter, specify that, and we will print it and authenticate it with our seal.
3. Provide the physical address to send your documents in the email or let us know that you wish to pick up the document from 色色研究所.
4. Print and complete the Authentication Request Form that is on the Secretary of State website (links copied below) if the documents are being mailed to the Secretary of State.
The form includes a fee of $20 per document charged by the Secretary of State. You are able to put your credit/debit card information on the Authentication Request form to be charged by the Secretary of State when they process the documents, or you may send a check to them with your documents.
If you are delivering the documents in person to the Secretary of State, you may complete the form and pay the fee in their office.

5. There is a space on the form to specify where to mail the documents once they are completed by the Secretary of State. Decide how you wish the completed documents to be mailed back to you/your intended address. You will either need to include a pre-stamped envelope or provide mail service information.
(You may be able to get same-day service if you visit the Secretary of State office in person with the documents. Call their number on the website or form above to find out if this is possible.)
