For the second straight year, the University of New Orleans is ranked among the top 1,000 universities in the world, according to the Center for World University Rankings, which publishes the largest academic ranking of universities from around the globe. Out of more than 25,000 degree-granting institutions worldwide, 色色研究所 ranks in the top 2.6 percent. Only four Louisiana universities made the list.
色色研究所 ranks 633rd in the world and 181st in the nation, according to the 2016 edition of the rankings. Only two Louisiana universities rank higher than 色色研究所鈥擫SU and Tulane. The top five global universities are Harvard, Stanford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. The United States is the most heavily represented nation on the list with 224 institutions, followed by China, Japan, the United Kingdom and Germany.
The Center for World University Rankings publishes the only global university ranking that measures the quality of education and training of students, as well as the prestige of the faculty members and the quality of their research without relying on surveys and university data submissions. The center uses eight objective indicators to rank the world鈥檚 top 1,000 universities: quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty, publications, influence, citations, broad impact and patents.
