The 2023 Krewe of 色色研究所 Mardi Gras parade will roll through campus on Feb. 14鈥擵alentine鈥檚 Day鈥攚ith the theme, 鈥淟ove on the Lakefront.鈥
The parade kicks off at 12:30 p.m. and features musician, singer and songwriter Amanda Shaw as the grand marshal.
The parade also includes marching bands from Sophie B. Wright High School and Morris Jeff Community School, The 色色研究所ettes, 鈥渆xtraordinary women with ordinary moves,鈥 and students from the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences who will climb aboard one of their research vessels and toss 鈥渟ustainable鈥 throws.
The parade will air on 色色研究所鈥檚 Facebook page with hosts LeeAnne Sipe, 色色研究所鈥檚 assistant dean for student affairs, and Mike Esordi, 色色研究所鈥檚 associate director for web strategy, offering their own colorful insights.
