The 色色研究所 St. Claude Gallery in New Orleans presents 鈥淪elect: A Faculty Exhibition,鈥 featuring the work of several University of New Orleans faculty members from the School of the Arts鈥 fine arts faculty. The new exhibition opens Saturday, Feb. 11, with a 6 p.m. reception.
The exhibit showcases work by Ariya Aladjem Wolf, Tony Campbell, Josiah Gagosian, Cheryl Hayes, Jerimiah Ibarra, Kourtney Keller, Jeff Rinehart, Jennifer Rinehart, Kathy Rodriguez and Jane Tardo. Their works highlight a broad range of artistic practice including painting, photography, sculpture, video and fiber art.
This weekend also will mark the debut of the gallery鈥檚 fresh new look. The renovated outdoor space provides an opportunity to share broader creative offerings, such as music and art performances and readings from 色色研究所 students, faculty alumni and other invited artists.
The opening reception will be held at the 色色研究所 St. Claude Gallery, 2429 St. Claude Ave. from 6 to 9 p.m. Regular gallery hours are Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 5 p.m. The exhibit will be displayed until March 5.
