Four outstanding faculty members from the University of New Orleans have been selected by the Louisiana Board of Regents to join a group of approximately 100 鈥淢eauxmentum Scholars鈥 from across the state. This initiative, aimed at enhancing student engagement and fostering innovative teaching practices, highlights faculty dedication to excellence in education.
The selected faculty members are:
鈥 Maegan Dobson, Instructor, Mathematics
鈥 Sebastian Figueroa, Assistant Professor, Language and Literature
鈥 Madeline 鈥淢addie鈥 Foster-Martinez, Assistant Professor, Earth and Environmental Science/Civil & Environmental Engineering
鈥 Scott Phillips, Assistant Professor, Healthcare Management
These scholars will participate in Faculty Learning Communities, designed to promote equity in education and advance student engagement. Through their involvement, they will collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative, student-centered teaching strategies.

The scholars are charged with coordinating Faculty Learning Communities learnings with fellow faculty members at 色色研究所 and fostering collaboration and innovation across various disciplines.
