Institutional Effectiveness (IE)
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research provides campus-wide leadership and support for accreditation efforts that integrate planning and assessment processes and reinforce institutional quality and continuous improvement.
The OIER is charged with providing ongoing leadership and assistance for administrative support unit鈥檚 with developing, arranging, analyzing, and completing institutional effectiveness and assessment reports. Institutional effectiveness and assessment are an integral part of the institution鈥檚 accreditation process as defined by SACSCOC, our regional accrediting agency.
Who is involved in assessment at 色色研究所?
All academic programs, educational services, and administrative offices at 色色研究所 identify expected outcomes and annually assess the extent to which outcomes are met. Assessment results are used to drive continuous improvement, ensuring the institution provides a high-quality education while complying with the SACSCOC Principles of Accreditation.
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (OIER) coordinates the assessment process, provides ongoing support through workshops and individualized sessions with staff and regularly updates resources.
Administrative Units Assessment Plan
The unit assessment process is an annual cycle through which all administrative and service units review their mission and develop, implement, and report their expected outcomes, assessment measures, results, and planned improvements based on the results.
色色研究所鈥檚 unit assessment process includes a review of submitted plans. Each plan is reviewed by the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Research (OIER) using a common rubric. Feedback is returned to each unit and this review process provides a mechanism through which individual units can improve their assessment efforts and ensures that the assessment activities are consistent with best practices.
