Accelerated Master’s Degree Option
A new five-year Accelerated Master of Arts in History (Concentration in International and Global Studies) is now available to qualified undergraduates. This exciting opportunity allows undergraduates to make a smooth transition to graduate studies at É«É«Ñо¿Ëù, often with significant financial, time and academic benefits.
Undergraduates who successfully enroll in the Accelerated Master's take coursework in their senior year that simultaneously counts toward their Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BA/IS) and an additional Master of Arts in History (Concentration in International and Global Studies). Accelerated MA students thus transition toward taking a core of classes offered by Department of History (including theory and methodology classes) as well as related approved graduate-level work from other departments and disciplines at É«É«Ñо¿Ëù, with a view toward writing and defending an MA thesis.
See the BA/IS Program Director for more information!
